Patient communication
WhatsApp updates for clinics
Patients in India read WhatsApp; they often ignore SMS and miss calls. ClinicToday uses the official WhatsApp Business Platform so your clinic can confirm tokens and share receipts on the channel patients already use.
What can be sent
- Token confirmation with the number, doctor and clinic name
- Visit summary after the consultation
- Billing receipt as a message the patient can keep
- Follow-up reminders for patients due for a review
Built on approved templates, not bulk blasting
Outside a patient's 24-hour reply window, messages are sent only with templates approved by Meta. Variables are validated before sending, so a rejected character never breaks a message. There is no bulk marketing tooling and no auto-reply bot — the goal is a clean sender reputation for your clinic's number.
Consent and privacy
Patients share their number at registration for clinic communication. Messages contain only what the patient needs — no clinical notes are pushed over WhatsApp. Numbers are never sold or shared with advertisers.
Two-way inbox
Replies land in a simple conversation inbox, so a nurse can answer a question about timings or a report without switching to a personal phone.
